C.I.M. & the Bahamas Joint Media Breakfast
In 1994, when our Ministry was born the need to promote and serve the “Christian Caribbean” was its main motivation. Led by Mr. S. Alexis Wallace, it at first launched a publication; The Caribbean Christian Communicator, that addressed various issues and highlighted the richness of Caribbean Culture.

The medium was well received by Caribbeans both within the region and abroad. It also gained strong support from the international Christian community.

Wrote Mrs. Coretta Scott-King:
“I wholeheartedly support the cause of promoting dialogue and understanding between the millions of Christians in the Caribbean and America. The magnificent diversity and rich traditions of the Caribbean Christian community has immeasurably enriched the culture of the Western Hemisphere, and I encourage your efforts to share this wonderful heritage.”

A burden was placed on our leader’s heart to focus on the ministry aspect of our medium. At a May, 1995, joint Media Breakfast with the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism we entered into a new phase of our calling. As we announced plans to work closely with that nation, and the region for the development of Christian Tourism, God gave us a vision of great magnitude for ministry.

Between 1995 and 1997 we hosted a variety of Conferences and activities that focused on the various areas of needs of not just Caribbeans but the world at large. We had To Evangelize”. become, “A Caribbean Vision With The World In Mind”.

At the end of 1997, at our Thanksgiving Service, our leader answered God’s call to full time ministry as he and his wife, Evelina, were officially “Set Forth” as Evangelists. Evangelist Wallace was later ordained to the Ministry under World Christian Outreach Ministries of Ooltewah, Tennessee.

On May 10th, 2007, Alexis and Evelina Wallace took a further step in ministry as they were confirmed in the office of Pastors of Global Evangelistic Center, the Ministry home of Caribbean International Ministries.

The congregation that they lead is comprised of a faithful group of families that started out by meeting in the living room of Evangelist Wallace to pray for him as he would conduct his international Crusades and missions. These intercessors outgrew the living room of the Wallaces home and remained committed to the Ministry and its regular meeting.

Global Evangelistic Center is under the apostolic leadership of Bishop Isaiah Williams, pastor of Jesus People Ministries International and the Right Connection Ministries.
